Broker Management Continuing Education Classes
Classes meet from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with test immediately following. The Instructor is Mike Fair. Course fee is $110.00 or $125.00 for the class session and includes the administration fee required by the Illinois Real Estate Education Foundation.
Course Information
· Illinois Real Estate License Act of 2000 requires a six-hour course for the continuing education of Illinois real estate brokers.
· The Course is intended to provide the knowledge and tools necessary to be an effective real estate broker in the state of Illinois.

Chapter 1: Broker Licensing and Responsibility
Chapter 2: Agency Agreements and Issues
Chapter 3: Office Management and Escrow Responsibilities
Chapter 4: Risk Reduction
Chapter 5: Disciplinary Actions
The State requires that you have the following textbooks for reference. Both books are necessary in order to complete the course.
- Illinois Broker Management, by Laurie S. MacDougal
- Illinois Brokerage Management Supplement, by REEF
If you previously completed a required 6 hour Broker Management Course and have the text Illinois Broker Management, by Laurie S. MacDougal, you will not need to purchase another text and qualify for a reduced fee.
If you enroll at the reduced fee, the text must be brought class. If it is not brought to class, you must purchase another text for $15.00 at the time of check in. Absolutely No Exceptions!!!
